FORMULATIONS
Our 50 years of expertise in natural and organic cosmetics and our nearly 30 years in manufacturing nutritional supplements are available to you, whenever you need.
We ensure quality at all times because we carry out the necessary sampling and controls throughout our manufacturing and packaging processes, with a special focus on microbiology, metrology, and the superior quality of all the elements that comprise the finished product. Thus, all our productions are subject to control, including organoleptic, physio-chemical characteristics, and microbiological controls.
We offer two approaches to cosmetic formulation.
COSMETIC FORMULATIONS
Catalogue Formulas
Our laboratory already has over 500 formulas, developed by our research department, based on current trends and regulations within the cosmetic market.
The process is simple. You select a formulation from our private label product catalog, we manufacture it for you under your brand name, and you distribute it.
Why choose a Catalogue Formula?
Since a private label product comes ready-made, you don’t need to invest in cosmetic development. You enjoy a lower product cost, higher profit margin, and shorter delivery times.
Custom-made Formulas
Custom formulations are formulas that we create exclusively for your brand through dedicated development. We create your formula according to your specifications and target market. Custom formulations involve the modification of an existing formula or development of a new formula.
How do we create a custom cosmetic, makeup or nutritional supplement product?
You provide us with your specification requirements (active ingredients, fragrance, texture, color, and aspect). Our research engineers will then formulate your product.

In 2015 and 2019, we invested in two new screen-printing units to ensure high-quality printing on all types of primary packaging, from pots and pumps to vials and tubes. As a result, PHYT’S Production is proud to offer, entirely in-house, the following printing services:
- High precision in the details and color combinations
- Choice of one to three colors including varnish (matte and glossy)
- Automatic printing and loading system
- 500 to 3000 products printed per hour
- UV lights for an instant drying process
By bringing this packaging service in-house, PHYT’S Production can offer optimal flexibility and responsiveness to our clients’ needs, from long-term productions to short runs or limited editions.

Our Regulatory Services
Challenge Tests
We evaluate the effectiveness of your product’s preservative systems according to ISO 11930:2019 on the evaluation of the antimicrobial protection of a cosmetic product. Your cosmetic product must be prohibitive for microbial life.
Stability and Compatibility Tests
We evaluate the stability of your formula and its compatibility with your selected packaging.
Safety Tests
We make sure your cosmetic product is safe for consumers by conducting cutaneous or ocular tolerance tests.
Efficacy Tests
All cosmetic claims must be proven (e.g. moisturizing, lifting, firming). We can perform efficacy tests to validate your product claims.
Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR)
Your product must have a safety report. The report combines the safety assessment with information on your cosmetic product. Using an independent toxicological expert, we conduct the safety assessment and create a safety report.
Cosmetic Certification and Label
Cosmetic certification is the best way to clearly position your product. Whatever kind of certification you need, we can guide you through the certification process.
Product Information File (PIF)
We establish and update your Product Information File (PIF). This document gathers all key information about your cosmetic product.
Verification of Your Labeling
We help to ensure that your label and packaging comply with the European cosmetic regulations.
Registration on European Portal
A user guide is provided in order to help you register on the Cosmetic Product Notification Portal (CPNP)
Regulatory Watch

MANUFACTURING
& FILLING
At PHYT’S Production, we manufacture a wide range of cosmetic products (e.g. liquids, gels, emulsions, creams, shampoos, powders, balms, etc.).
Our manufacturing teams operate according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and in compliance with ISO 22716 standards to ensure the highest product quality. If you want to manufacture your formulas in France, we are the ideal partner.

An industrial center of more than 15,000 m² comprising the following:
- A production unit of 8,000 m², equipped with modern, high-performance equipment and 16 packaging manufacturing lines,

- A storage and logistics unit of more than 7,000 m²,
- A quality-control unit ensuring rigorous monitoring of the application of the current regulations.

We provide warehousing and transportation solutions for our partners, so you can store your products safely and securely. If you want to manage shipping your own cosmetics, we can provide the necessary information for shipping and customs clearances (e.g. weight, packing details, and export custom clearances). We also offer custom packaging, tailored to meet the specific needs of your products, thereby offering maximum protection.
